Wait, did I say she
was actually going to kill the moose (which in my head I have
named Frank)? Of course I'm not going to draw a dead moose, I
didn't want to draw a hunting scene, I wanted to draw a failed hunting scene :)
At first I just wanted to draw a little bit
of failure; Pintail's about to shoot some big deer type animal,
Hammerhead distracts her, she misses the shot, the animal runs
away, drats. But when I read up a little on the
moose I found this line that said that a moose can attack you if
you startle or threaten it. At that moment a light bulb switched
on and I knew what I had to do with this scene. Failure wasn't
enough, it had to be a hunting scene gone wrong. Cause yeah, I
mean like that.
